Red Rose is the brainchild of Singer Songwriter Guitarist Playwright Will Rose. Nevada native, Will has traveled extensively across the United States and Europe performing and writing/singing about his experiences. Will has worked with, among others, the Four Tops, Meatloaf, The Checkmates, the Late Freddy Bell, Lon Bronson's Big Band, Doug Kershaw, Alex Acuna, The Platters, and various Las Vegas production shows and Broadway musicals. He was the guitarist on Taxi and Cheers, as well as in movie soundtracks. He has written the scores for musicals as well as forming his own Musical Production company with his wife, Sheree. He has fronted several of his own bands over the years, ie: Shakey Jake, Rapid Transit, Will Rose and the Repeat Offenders, Scatter Blues, Melange, The Right On Roadshow and currently Red Rose.

The latest adventure has been into the showcasing of Will's songs. To do this Red Rose enlisted the talents of fan Theo McCormick, the creator of this website and editor/do it all videographer for Red Rose. The results are now on YouTube, and available on DigStation, CDBaby, and iTunes. Theo's the greatest.

With great excitement we introduce Our SONG OF THE DAY VIDEO series on YouTube with an easy link feature on our web site. We hope these short videos will give you a humorous glimpse into the creative minds that regularly play with Will And Sheree in the band Red Rose.

This is a window into the creation and evolution of music; it's as if you could visit Will every day and watch he and his friends make music. This is not a highly produced project but rather a raw view into musical creation that we hope will entertain you. Will has a catalog of over 400 songs he has written and if we encourage him we could get a song every day for a year!

Carson City Hot Springs fans and Carson Cruisers fans will be united on Thursday, June 18 from 7 to 9 for a Carson Cruiser event. Red Rose will be on hand playing fun music and selling CD's. I hope to have our new T'shirts out by then as well. We hope that you will check us out. Bring your swim suit and come soak in the healing hot mineral waters. There is a big pool, small hot tubs, and small private hot tub rooms. $10 will get you in the pool and $15 will get you the rooms and the pool.
We will be at the Carson City Farmers Markets on 3rd and Curry again this year. They start in June. We play July 11, August 15 and September 5. They start early folks, about 9ish and go only until 1ish. These are free ( we work for tips/cd sales)and they always have great stuff to buy.
