Many of Will’s songs are about his life growing up in Nevada, having spent a lot of time in both the rural and the urban environments. Let me warn you, they reflect an interesting and checkered past, probably not for the squeamish or politically correct crowd. He tells it like it was with his own “the fish was this big” flavor. Will is a forever young kind of guy, his fans rave and his critics are few. For a man who has played music for over 40 years, he seems 30 to all who meet this vivacious, colorful man. Will Rose knows how to have fun. His fan base is worldwide, with Peru being his latest conquest.
For the past year Will has been working with a group of young musicians in Silver City. He and friend Bob Elston mentor a band of 10, who are each playing their hard earned instruments for the first time. Will's early years in a garage band have helped form this motley crew into a pretty cool group. You may see them on a YouTube video soon.
